Services to New Christians

EI4G will stay in touch with new Christians (whether through EI4G’s efforts or not) with employed and volunteer Mentors, monthly Eternal Events, live forums on the website and more:

Give them a new Bible and a book
Benefit: The most important responsibility that falls upon EI4G when helping someone in their walk with Jesus Christ is that of providing them with an understandable, factual Bible; EI4G’s Bible of choice is the English Standard Version (ESV).

Access to Mentors
Benefit: This is a vital part of EI4G’s focus on maintaining relationships. Providing a mentor helps them with the seemingly infinite amount of questions that are inevitable with a new Christian. A Mentor also provides someone that will guide the new Christian along in their daily walk with Jesus Christ.

Plugging them into a church small group
Benefit: It increases their chances of remaining active as a Christian and provides a small, close group of friends in which they help each other learn more about and walk closer with Jesus Christ.

Invite to monthly Eternal Events
Benefit: It gives them an opportunity to relax and have fun in a setting of Christian fellowship. They can invite their friends to the event as well.

Provide access to website resources via EI4G.org
Benefit: Provides the new Christian with information about topics that they may be wondering about. It also provides an interactive discussion forum in which the new Christian can discuss topics with various industry experts.

Produce a monthly newsletter specifically for new Christians
Benefit: Keep them up to date on the activities of EI4G. Provide them with information about upcoming events so they can become more entrenched in the faith. Provide an emphasis on common questions about Christianity and use it as an educational tool. Provide information on defending the faith to prepare them for the probable negativism from non-Christians.

Recommend Christian workshops
Benefit: Workshops will further the new Christians’ knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Bible. It will also serve as another medium of meeting fellow Christians.

Plug into daily Bible verse via e-mail
Benefit: It provides an easy way for the new Christian to think about Jesus Christ each day and to help them open their Bible regularly.

What awaits in Heaven
Benefit: An explanation of what the Bible says about Heaven so that the new Christian will always have hope.

Monitor their walk with regular questionnaires
Benefit: It helps the new Christian to think about specific concerns and unanswered questions they may have. It also provides feedback to EI4G and its Mentors that will be used to help new Christians now and in the future.

Explain their responsibility as Christians relative to evangelism
Benefit: Provides education to them that evangelism is one of the objectives God set out for His people to perform regularly. This can help them realize that God has commanded us to evangelize. It will also reassure them that their role in God’s plan is pivotal.

Explain how to share faith with non-Christians
Benefit: Provide valuable tips and training materials to make them more comfortable and confident in terms of sharing the Word of God. If they are more comfortable and confident then it stands to reason that they will actively evangelize more efficiently.

Personal phone call or letter from the Chairman & CEO of EI4G congratulating them
Benefit: It is simply one more expression of how much EI4G loves them and is here to support them.

Services to non-Christians

EI4G will make a concerted effort to maintain relationships with non-Christians expressing some kind of genuine interest in a relationship with Jesus Christ. A few of the ways this will be done for non-Christians are as follows. This is not an all-inclusive list:

Free Bibles as requested and as available
Benefit: This will serve as the foundation of any evangelistic efforts EI4G conducts. The non-Christian will be directed towards his/her Bible to find answers to their many questions and to learn more about Jesus Christ. The importance of the Bible’s role in evangelizing is immeasurable.

God’s Word is the ultimate authority and contains answers to many of life’s questions. EI4G, as funds permit, will provide a free Bible to any non-believer desiring to receive one.

Access to Mentors
Benefit: Providing a Mentor helps non-Christians with the seemingly infinite amount of questions that are inevitable with anybody seriously considering a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Invite to monthly Eternal Events
Benefit: It gives the non-Christian an opportunity to relax and have fun in a friendly setting. It will also show them that Christians do have fun and how we have fun.

Provide access to website resources via EI4G.org
Benefit: Non-believers will be granted access to some of the resources available on EI4G’s website so that they can learn about Jesus Christ at their own pace. A non-believer may in fact evangelize himself or herself by reviewing the facts on their own! Access to the site also provides more introverted non-believers an alternative to discussing Jesus Christ with their Christian friends or family directly.

Invite to conferences
Benefit: EI4G conferences are high-volume evangelistic events. They provide the non-Christian with information directly from industry experts concerning a topic that research indicates is important to Washington, DC non-Christians. They may also enjoy Christian music as well as a free meal.

Produce a bi-monthly newsletter specifically for non-Christians
Benefit: This newsletter will be primarily educational and will focus on debunking many of the false teachings of our society concerning Christianity. It will also provide the details of upcoming events.

Provide a personal note or phone call from EI4G’s Chairman & CEO
Benefit: Provides personal attention to each non-Christian and lets them know that the Chairman & CEO of EI4G cares about them specifically.

For more information about services to non-Christians click here or e-mail us at outreach@EI4G.org.

Conferences

EI4G conferences are based on the goal of evangelizing through educating non-Christians about a specific topic. Conferences will be focused on topics that EI4G’s research indicates is of interest and importance to Washington, DC non-Christians.

A typical conference will include speeches from industry experts and church leaders as well as music from Christian artists. Efforts will be made to have highly influential Christians participate in the event.

A sample conference page can be found by viewing 2007 Conference.

Those on the mailing list will be notified of the specific dates and locations once determined.

Sermon Books
Note: This is a sample page in regards to the fact that Sermon Books do not yet exist.

EI4G’s Sermon Books are a compilation of numerous sermons focusing on a particular topic. Each sermon will be reviewed for Biblical accuracy, as are all resources promoted by EI4G. The purpose of these Sermon Books is to motivate Christians and educate both Christians and non-Christians alike. EI4G’s Sermon Books will likely consist of about 25 sermons and as many Bible verses as possible with commentary relevant to a particular Barrier Packet topic.

We will ask permission to use each sermon in EI4G’s potentially copyrighted book. Although being allowed to include sermons in a copyrighted book is not expected, EI4G will ask and explain how the sermon will be used by EI4G for the glory of God through evangelistic efforts.

Click here to order a sermon book. Send us a question by e-mail at question@EI4G.org or by clicking here.

Prayer Books

Note: This is a sample page as the Prayer Book is not yet in circulation.

The Prayer Team develops a Prayer Book around October or November of each calendar year. This book includes the names of those to be kept in prayer throughout the year. For example, if there are 365 people or groups on our prayer list, EI4G would list one for each day of the year. If there are 730 then two would be listed for each day and so on. Finances permitting, the Prayer Book is distributed to Partners, Board Members, executives, staff, volunteers and donors. The first version of the Prayer Book is tentatively scheduled to be distributed in December of 2007.

Individuals on the mailing list will be kept informed of when the inaugural Prayer Book will be released.

E-mail us at prayer@EI4G.org with any questions or comments that you may have. You can also click here to contact us.

“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

Multiplying Efforts

EI4G is designed to not only spread the Word ourselves, but to have a potentially greater impact by partnering with Christians to evangelize. Here are just a few examples of how greater impact can be achieved:

  • Churches can leverage EI4G’s research, EI4G.org and conferences.
  • EI4G leverages Partner church congregations as a source for potential Partners.
  • EI4G can reach a larger number of non-Christians by investing our efforts in Christians and getting more people involved in the process.
  • EI4G can use the natural leverage established by friendships between Partners and their friends.
  • Partners can use EI4G’s forum area where they can get better at evangelizing by sharing ideas.

E-mail us at question@EI4G.org or just click here to learn more about how leverage is a key component to the effectiveness of EI4G.

“And he said to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’”
